Programs

A collaborative team that champions the nursing and midwifery professions, amplifying members voices to influence policy and ensure workforce perspectives are heard nationally. Our team brings together experts with extensive experience across a wide range of nursing and midwifery specialties.

We are dedicated to advancing the nursing and midwifery professions by providing advocacy and influence at a national level.

Acting on behalf of ANMF members, we engage in key national forums, consultations, and policy discussions to ensure that the perspectives of nurses, midwives, and carers are heard where decisions are made.

Through collaboration, informed contribution, and strategic engagement, we help shape policy, strengthen professional standards, and represent the realities of practice across healthcare.

Our work is centered on supporting our members—ensuring nurses,  midwives and carers have a visible, credible, and influential voice that directly impacts professional practice, workforce development, and the delivery of high-quality care.

Together, we provide a platform where professional perspectives can influence change, promote excellence, and help build stronger, more empowered nursing and midwifery professions across Australia.

We are dedicated to advancing the nursing and midwifery professions by providing advocacy and influence at a national level.
