Rules & Governance
As a registered organisation under the RO Act, the ANMF is governed by a defined set of rules.
ANMF Federal Rules
Our organisation is made up of eight branches, each representing the professional, industrial and political interests of nurses, midwives and carers in each state and territory. The national ANMF or Federal Office, provides cohesive leadership and governance across all branches. Find out more about Our Organisation.
All activities which take place at a Federal, state and local level, are governed by the ANMF Rules. The Rules outline the role of each governing body to provide an operational framework. They also provide transparency and give members a say.
The Rules are reviewed and amended regularly to ensure they conform to current laws and regulations and reflect the contemporary views of our members.
Rules were last certified on 29 November 2021.
