Equity in Access to Healthcare
The ANMF continues to advocate for all Australians to have access to quality and affordable healthcare, no matter who they are, or where they live. The Research Unit undertakes research that aims to identify and address disparities in healthcare access and outcomes, such as financial barriers, availability of services, discrimination, and health literacy. The research supports the development of strategies and policies that promote equal access to quality care, improve health outcomes, and reduce inequities within the healthcare system.
