National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week 2026 theme announced
16 January 2026National Reconciliation Week – 27 May to 3 June every year – is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to recommit ourselves to reconciliation and the fight for First Nations justice in Australia.
This year’s theme All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport, and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change. The theme calls on Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day.
The theme also reminds us that reconciliation and advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ rights isn’t a passive activity, and it is not solely the responsibility of First Nations people, who have carried the weight of championing, explaining and acting for far too long.
You can show your support this Reconciliation Week 2026 by downloading and displaying a range of National resources including posters and social tiles here.
More resources and events will be available in the lead-up to NRW at Reconciliation Australia.
