“Every Nurse’s Business” survey for Registered Nurses

Tuesday 15th September, 2020

Registered Nurses are being invited to take part in an important survey which aims to help to improve the healthcare outcomes for people with Intellectual Disability (ID) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Currently, there is very little known about the workforce profile and education of nurses addressing the needs of people with ID/ASD in hospital and community healthcare settings. Additionally, we don’t know much about the self-perceived education, preparedness, comfort, and confidence of nurses caring for this cohort.

Your pivotal feedback will help researchers to learn more about Registered Nurses educational and clinical experiences working with people with ID/ASD. Such information can help inform education and training content in this area, and subsequently improve the health outcomes of patients with ID/ASD.

The survey is being undertaken by the Southern Cross University and the University of Sydney.

To participate click this link to be directed to an information sheet discussing the project in greater detail, and if you consent you can then commence the survey.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

You have a choice to take part in this study and can withdraw consent to participate at any time.
